This is a translation. If it differs from the Spanish text, the Spanish version prevails and is the authentic text.

This policy describes how NEOMETRICO GEOSPATIAL S.L. processes personal data on Neometrico websites and applications, under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD).

We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer. To exercise your rights or ask about this policy, write to pixel@neometrico.com.

2. Scope

This policy covers Neometrico websites and applications: sign-up, geospatial monitoring, GAIA and Zeus Orchestrator. The controller is the same.

3. Data we process

We process data you or your organisation give us, and data created when you use the service:

  • Identity and contact: name, email, phone if you give it, and the company, cooperative, town or operator you belong to.
  • Platform account: credentials and usage preferences.
  • Land and holdings: areas of interest, polygons, parcels or other boundaries, associated uses or crops, and files you import (for example meteorological-station series or cartography).
  • Drone packages when you choose to bring them onto the platform. Air Mapper processes the flight on your machine; that material is not sent to Neometrico or a third party unless you upload it later.
  • GAIA queries and the cadence you set in Zeus Orchestrator.
  • Technical data: IP address, device type, language, and a security token on the contact form.

The location of a holding or a boundary is personal data when it can identify a natural person (for example a sole operator). We do not ask for special-category data (health, biometrics, opinions, and so on).

Data may come from you, your organisation, files you import, satellite providers needed to run the service, or public cartography.

4. Purposes and legal bases

  • Performing the contract or pre-contractual steps (GDPR art. 6.1.b): registration, platform access, monitoring, support and trial requests.
  • Handling the contact form and enquiries (art. 6.1.b or, if there is no prior relationship, art. 6.1.a).
  • Security, abuse prevention and keeping the service running (art. 6.1.f).
  • Telling customers about the service they already use (art. 6.1.f and Spanish LSSI art. 21.2), with a right to object on every message.
  • Marketing to people who are not customers, only with consent (art. 6.1.a).
  • Legal duties (art. 6.1.c): authority requests, commercial and tax retention.

GAIA and Zeus Orchestrator analyse land to help you decide. We do not take automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on you (GDPR art. 22).

5. Recipients

We do not sell personal data. These categories of providers may process it as processors, only to serve us:

  • Cloud hosting, infrastructure and databases.
  • Transactional email for the contact form.
  • Contact-form security and abuse prevention.

We may also disclose data to public authorities when a law requires it. Satellite providers deliver scenes for the service; we do not hand them your account for other purposes.

6. Transfers outside the EEA

Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area, in particular in the United States. In that case we use the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses or another Chapter V GDPR safeguard. You can ask for more detail at pixel@neometrico.com.

7. Retention

  • Account and service data: for the life of the contract, unless you ask us to erase them.
  • Contact and prospecting forms: as long as needed to handle the request, or until you withdraw consent.
  • After the relationship ends, data are blocked for the applicable legal periods — in Spain, typically commercial and tax terms (usually up to 6 years) — to meet possible liabilities.

8. Your rights

You may request access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction, portability and, where the basis is consent, withdrawal. Withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out.

Write to pixel@neometrico.com with the subject “GDPR rights request” and enough information to verify your identity. If you think we have not handled your request properly, you may complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).

9. Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of data, and to prevent alteration, loss or unauthorised access.

10. Children

The service is not directed at children under 14 (LOPDGDD art. 7). If we find an account below that age, we will close it.

11. Updates

We may update this policy if the processing or the law changes. The date is at the top. Continued use of the service after a material change means the new version has been available on this page.
